Once I get out of bed, that is.
Our typical morning routine is John wakes up with Jack and mostly paces in the family room while they have a little cuddle time. Jack could spend the whole day in John's arms. They are like two pees in a pod, those two. In my arms? No, thanks. He'd rather just nurse.
This morning Jack slept in until about 7:15 and so we both woke up slowly while Jack played and did his usual face-attack with the two of us.
John had a breakfast meeting so it was just Jackboy and I. He is really lovin' bananas and raisins lately and I can't get him to eat anything else for breakfast. That's okay. It is so entertaining to watch him devour every last one. Plus, I get to eat an entire bowl of cereal before it gets soggy! It's been a while.
My morning goes through his first nap which gives me time to drink a cup of coffee, pray and...do this.
Also this morning I listened to this sermon by Adrian Rogers and listened to this song.

Hello!
Your pictures are fantastic! Your blog is so beautiful.
Thanks for stopping by, and commenting! It looks like we have a few friends in common- I just moved to AZ from NWI where my friends Beth (I should be folding laundry, you capture lady!) and my friend Steph (adventures in babywearing- babywearing mama) live. Miss them, but blogging makes them seem so very close.
So fun to see how small this big world is!
Have a great evening!
you've got a cutie there;) And I"m also reading Grace-based Parenting.... just starting in fact!
Love those sweet blue eyes in the morning!
And could you have your little baby boy talk to my baby girl about the bananas? For some reason she doesn't like them and I just don't get it... ;)
